A link will not open
Check that you have the whole link and the six-character code. Links expire, and whoever sent it can revoke it. If it has, ask them for a new one.
It will not let me share
The free tier keeps one link live at a time. Open My links in the app and stop sharing the old one to free it up. With Pro you get ten, of which two can be permanent: if the permanent ones are taken, give the new link a date instead.
The place is wrong or missing
wiit reads the place from the photo's own GPS tag. Photos taken without it, or picked without granting photo access, have nothing to read: type the place instead.
There is no account to close
wiit has no sign-up, so there is nothing to delete on our side. Revoke your links in My links and delete the app: that removes the local copy and the encrypted blocks from the server. The iCloud copy is yours, in your Apple account settings. The privacy policy spells this out.
