Using wiit means accepting what follows. It is short on purpose.
What wiit is
wiit is an iPhone app for remembering where things are: a photo, a name, a place and a note, stored on your device. It can also turn a wiit or a space into a link, protected by a six-character code, that anyone can open in a browser without installing anything.
There are no accounts. You do not register, and we do not identify you.

wiit Pro
wiit Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. It is sold and charged by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's terms; refunds are therefore handled by Apple, not by us.
Pro unlocks ten simultaneous share links instead of one, sharing whole spaces, choosing how long a link lasts (including up to two links that never expire), and exporting to Markdown and PDF. If a future version adds more, existing Pro buyers are not charged again for what they already bought.
What you share is your responsibility
You decide what you photograph and what you send. You are responsible for having the right to share it and for who you send the link and the code to. Do not use wiit to share anything unlawful, or anything about other people that you have no right to pass on.
Because shared content is encrypted on your device and we hold no key, we cannot see what a link contains. That means we cannot moderate it, and it also means we cannot recover it for you. If a competent authority requires it, we can delete the stored blocks and disable a link, but we cannot produce its contents.
Usage limits
To keep the service running for everyone there are limits on sharing:
- Live links: one at a time on the free tier, ten with Pro. A link counts as one whatever it holds, whether a single wiit or a whole space.
- Links that never expire: none on the free tier, up to two at a time with Pro. The rest last 7 or 30 days.
- New links per day: a daily cap per device, high enough for normal use and low enough to stop abuse.
- Size: a limit per link on how much can be uploaded.
- A shared space holds a limited number of wiits, currently thirty.
The app tells you when you hit a limit. Trying to get around them, or using the service to distribute content at scale, may end in links being disabled.
Availability
The app works offline and does not need us to be online. The sharing service is provided as it is, with no guarantee of availability: it may be interrupted for maintenance, or for reasons outside our control. An expired or revoked link cannot be restored.
Keep your own copies of anything that matters. wiit is a reminder of where things are, not a backup service.
Liability
wiit is provided without warranty beyond what Spanish and EU consumer law requires and cannot be excluded. We are not liable for loss arising from use of the app or the sharing service, including content lost because a link expired, was revoked, or the device was lost. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the new version.
Applicable law
Spanish law applies. Any dispute goes to the competent courts of Spain, without affecting your right, as a consumer, to bring a claim where you live.
These terms are published in several languages. The Spanish version is the original and the one that prevails: if a translation differs, the Spanish text governs.
